iFind 4.0 Luminos, RELEASED! (20th of October)



iFind 4.0 is here today. Re-mastered on the outside - iFind's elegant and detailed yet simple interface sets it apart from everything else. Revamped on the inside - Even though you won't be able to see it, iFind's core has been recoded to achieve maximum performance.

Open up a whole new world with the array of features and links iFind presents you. Join the social with the new look Chatrooms and built in babblr.* iFind also has a clever password protection which allows you to protect your private files such as photos away from others’ eyes’. Going to your favourite sites and checking your mail has never been easier because iFind contains hundreds of sorted links allowing you to get where you want fast. The LiNK Browser, only available on iFind, gets you everywhere, surf the net, listen to music, do whatever you like while allowing you to your stuff in three tabs, meaning it can theoretically expand the three tabs in your PlayStation Portable browser to an incredible nine tabs.

iFind Luminos will be available in four different downloads. There's no need to worry because they are all completely the same. There will be .ZIP and .RAR compressed archives of Luminos, pick which ever you like - depending on which you can unzip. The other two will be the Easy Installers for less advanced users; The official Cronos Easy Installer and the YongoBongo Easy installer are basically the same, but the Cronos Easy Installer is in one .EXE package and will guide you through installation with a wizard, while Yongobongo's Easy Installer is compressed in a .RAR archive but will let you custom-install Luminos.

iFind 4.0 has been a great task for us, but it has also been very rewarding. We're happy to bring those happy smiles to your face when you open up iFind for the first time on your PlayStation Portables, and we'll keep on doing that for as long as we can. But, we can't live on those happy smiles forever, so if you'd like to shout as lunch or something, we'd be glad to accept your donation in any amount.

Makeover! (19th of September)

Welcome to the newly redesigned Cronos Studios homepage, we hope you like it. Many aspects of the site are still exactly the same but we thought a new look would be nice as we'll be entering a new phase for Cronos. Drop some feedback and tell us what you think or visit pixelNation and tell us there!

For all the users using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (a fair few amount according to our statistics), some graphics of this new design may look a little funky. This is because IE 6 is unable to render PNGs with alpha-channel transparency properly. The quick fix for this is to update your current browser to any latest browser. Such as Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer 7.

iFind Luminos will not make it's release just yet as there are still a few things that must be completed. However the wait will be worth the wait, as Luminos will be the best PSP portal that you will have ever used. Luminos should be released by late October.

Everything Cronos Studios is absolutely free, and we are proud to have it that way. We would literally live on the smiles and happy responses and smiles we get from you happy fans, but due to the way this world works, unfortunately we cannot. babblr is RELEASED! (10th of June)



babblr is finally released and can be downloaded for free or accessed online from your PlayStation Portable now!

For those who don't know yet, babblr is the new WLPM; babblr still retains all the nice features of WLPM including the WLPM looks, but now 8.5!

Not only that babblr now has heaps more features:

- Gorgeous and easy to use GUI
- Hot switchable themes (WLPM theme included)

Yummy News (3rd of June)

The name for iFind 4.0 PRO has just been officially announced; it will be named 'luminos'. There hasn't been any solid work but we are working on some conceptual graphics to start off first. iFind has always been well acclaimed for its exceptional beauty in graphics and we're not going to let down on that. iFind 4.0 PRO should be released in the fourth quarter of this year if things go well.

In other 'yummy news' we're happy to tell you that babblr should make it's release as soon as the end of this week! So don't hold your breath for much longer!

Babbling (27th of May)



WLPM is reaching the end of its lifespan, it's getting old and we know it's buggy and limited. So today we have an announcement to make, say goodbye to WLPM, make way for babblr! babblr will soon be replacing WLPM as the new and improved versatile messenger (AIM, Yahoo and MSN). babblr will make its release soon; keep reading this spot for updates and news!

Here's a beautiful selection of some of the logotypes that Cronos Studio's have designed. As you can see we've come along way from when we started out. From when we knew little to nothing about design to now where we're quite established with our style and how we work. In that time we've also created and contributed to some well known projects, too. These include the iFind Media Portal, Windows Live PSP Messenger, pixelFix and pixelNation. Of course we hope to continue to bring many more great pieces work for you, and we do not intend on stopping soon.

Some of you may have noticed that we've posted a little 'teaser' about an upcoming project entitled BRiC. A long time has passed since then and we've made no update on it's progress; unfortunately we've decided to drop this project. BRiC was intended to be a PlayStation 3 portal, and it was to be an online one. The name BRiC was used as each section or part of the GUI was essentially a 'brick'. As more concepts were developed, the project was dropped because it just did not seem a worthwhile project to continue on. As we work very hard to bring you the best, we didn't want to disappoint by releasing something of low quality.

Less coded projects are being created at Cronos Studios because we're concentrating on further developing our graphical skills and web design. However be rest-assured that we will be developing more free products for your convenience, whether it be for the PlayStation Portable or PlayStation 3 - drop us some feedback on what you would think would be a great product for us to develop and we might take it onboard!

New Easy Installer for iFind! (3rd of April)


Finally there's an easier way for people to install iFind! Just released is an EXE installer that will install everything to get iFind on your PSP, simply and easily, perfect for those who are having installation issues. The EXE installer will only work for Windows users, so I'm sorry for those using OS X.
